An estimated 1/3 of the present stock of beds held today is old, out of date and below standards. We believe that a sound building programme will be needed to meet the demographic increase in the elderly population. The extra 4 million elderly scheduled by the year 2023 when the demand is forecasted to continue after 2041 a little slower but still increasing well in to the foreseeable future.

Purpose built Care or Care with Nursing Homes of minimum 7 to 40 beds for Special Needs and 60 to 120 Care beds for any other category or several categories is we think, the only commercially viable answer.
